Southmead Hospital Charity
A new double-sided touchscreen donation kiosk has been designed and installed at Southmead Hospital by EasyPay Network to raise funds for the Southmead Hospital Charity.
The charity collection kiosk, which is located in the main reception area of the hospital, allows donors to make either one-off or regular donations to help the hospital pioneer research, provide staff training, enhance the building, buy cutting-edge medical equipment, and provide the highest level of care to patients and their families. The kiosk is equipped with an integrated contactless donation system, allowing donors to quickly and easily complete their payments.

An Innovative Double-Sided Donation Kiosk
We positioned two of our charity donation kiosks back to back in a custom-made stand to create our first double-sided donation kiosks. This solution ensures that both sides of the kiosk are highly visible and accessible for donors. Mounting the kiosks on the walls of the hospital reception would have been a good solution, but with the majority of the footfall passing straight through the centre of the large entrance area, wall-mounted donation kiosks would have only reached a small percentage of passersby. By placing the kiosks in the centre of the visitor flow, people can’t help but notice the donation opportunity and the compelling call to action.
EasyPay Network Managing Director, Ben Wileman, attended in person to oversee the installation, commissioned by the North Bristol NHS Trust.
“It’s always exciting to see charities benefiting from our donation collection kiosks, but especially when fundraising is becoming more challenging.”

Charity Donation Collection Kiosks
Touchscreen donation kiosks have so many benefits for charities. They automate the donation process, meaning they can keep track of donations and donors, while at the same time reducing overheads associated with staff and volunteers collecting donations. The kiosks also provide a self-service experience for donors, freeing up staff to focus on other tasks and providing convenience for donors.
We’d like to thank the North Bristol NHS Trust for commissioning this project, and we look forward to continuing to work with them in the future. If you’d like to find out more about a donation kiosk for your charity or organisation, you can learn more here or contact us.
