EasyPay Network presents at NHS event
On 4th April, EasyPay Network exhibited our Prescription Payment Kiosk at the NHS Pharmacy Automation Systems Supplier Engagement Event. The event took place at Newmarket Racecourse. As a trusted NHS supplier, we were invited to the event to showcase our Prescription Payment Kiosks.
NHS Pharmacy Automation Systems
The purpose of the event was for NHS delegates seeking to improve and optimize medicine management processes within their Trusts. The NHS is wanting to reduce the cost of administering medicines in hospitals. This simultaneously will reduce error rates and increase the time available to nursing staff for patient care.
Prescription payment kiosks
Ben, Director of EasyPay Network presented to NHS delegates how Prescription Payment Kiosks can benefit A&E departments and assist in accomplishing these objectives. Lost revenue is substantially reduced as the kiosk is available 24/7. Staff members are able to focus solely on clinical duties. Our Prescription Payment Kiosk are safe, secure and offer patients flexible payment facilities.
One of the key points is that our Prescription kiosk deter potential A&E patients from seeking free prescriptions as they previously may have done. We offer marketing which highlights this to patients, in turn reducing A&E footfall.
Embracing new technologies
The event highlighted the importance technology has on the NHS and how the industry is looking to move forward. By using technology in the right way it will help save NHS Trusts substantial amounts of money.
We have have recently installed two Prescription Payment kiosks into thee Addenbrookes A&E department. The kiosks are used daily, and have quickly become an intrinsic part of the department and are a major asset to their A&E. Not only have the kiosks made life easier for the staff in the department, but it has also helped to substantially generate more income to the trust.
